cdVet Singulares Organic Coconut Oil is a natural product for dogs and cats. The oil is rich in valuable MCT fatty acids, including lauric acid, caprilic acid and capric acid. The product is characterised by a fresh coconut scent and taste. Did you know that some animal owners also use coconut oil to repel ticks? A study by the FU Berlin (Hilker, Kahl and Dautel) shows that coconut oil has a deterrent effect on ticks. This is due to the high proportion of lauric acid in coconut oil. You can spread a small amount (the size of a pea) of coconut oil over your pet's coat.
