A healthy immune system is one of the key ingredients for a healthy life. In order to maintain optimal resistance, it is vital that dogs and cats get all the necessary vitamins and minerals in the right quantities. Sometimes, however, a dog or cat may just need a little extra resistance, for example, if they are recovering from illness or are in transition from their summer to winter coat. Puur Vita-min contains a balanced combination of all of the vitamins and minerals they need to contribute to good resistance and a healthy immune system. It can be given as a supplement to their diet, for example, in older dogs or in puppies (only administer during pregnancy and lactation after consultation with your treating veterinarian).

Administration

In acute cases, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This may vary from 2 to 6 weeks. It is advisable to continue administering the product for a few weeks after you have noticed an improvement. With prolonged discomfort, it can take 1 to 3 weeks before Puur Vita-min has a visible effect. Once there are signs of improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose, which is about half of the usual dosage. Adjust the dosage based on careful observation of the animal. At the beginning, a higher dosage may be required (it can be safely given in a double dose), after which it can be brought back down gradually to as low a dosage as possible.

Puur Vita-min can be given on a long-term basis and used in combination with other natural health products.

Dosage:

• Dogs < 10 kg and cats, 1 scoop per day.
• Dogs from 10 to 25 kg, 2.5 scoops 1 x daily.
• Dogs > 25 kg, 4 scoops 1 x daily.

1 scoop contains approximately 1 gram.

Per 1 gram: 270 ug Vitamin A (as retinol palmitate), 2.3 mg Vitamin B1 (as thiamine HCl), 1.1 mg Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), 9.0 mg Vitamin B3 (nicotinamide), 4.5 mg Vitamin B5 (as calcium pantothenate), 2.3 mg Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine), 22.5 ug Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), 5.9 ug Folic acid, 2.3 mg PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid), 1.8 ug Biotin, 5.4 mg Choline (bitartrate), 13.5 mg of Inositol, 18.0 mg Vitamin C (as L-ascorbic acid), 4.1 mg of Citrus Bioflavonoids, 0.9 ug Vitamin D (cholecalciferol) and 1.9 mg Vitamin E (as D-alpha-tocopherol), 4.5 mg Magnesium (as citrate), 4.5 mg Calcium (as citrate and phosphate), 3.4 mg Potassium (as chloride), 1.2 mg Phosphorus (as calcium phosphate), 0.45 mg Zinc (as L-methionine), 0.45 mg Iron (as fumarate), 0.14 mg Manganese (as sulphate), 8.8 ug Iodine (as potassium iodate), 3.6 ug Selenium (as L-methionine) and 2.2 ug Copper (as amino acid), 22.5 mg MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), 0.96 mg Bamboo extract and 1.1 mg L-lysine HCl.
