MMaxi Guard Oral Cleansing Gel with Vitamin C helps to clean your pet's teeth. It contains a unique formula with zinc ascorbine for healthy gums. Zinc has a wide safety margin and an excess of it will automatically be excreted by the body. The gel can also be used before or after dental treatment to maintain healthy teeth. The addition of taurine contributes to fresh breath, while the gel itself has a neutral flavour for easier taste acceptance. The gel's refreshing and cleansing effect can be achieved both with or without a toothbrush. Vitamin C is important for the formation of collagen, which is the most important protein in the gum structure. Do keep in mind that Vitamin C can increase saliva secretion in some cats.

Directions for use
Apply pea-sized drops to the upper teeth and gums at the back. Due to the natural movement of your pet's mouth, the gel will be distributed over the teeth. If you are using a toothbrush, it is best to wait 30 seconds so the gel is already distributed over the teeth.
The Vitamin C comes in a separate vial. Activate the Vitamin C by mixing it into the Maxi Guard vial. When the powder has reached the bottom, shake the vial until the powder has dissolved. Once the powder is mixed into the gel, the product can be use for 6 months when stored in a cool and dark area or 14 months when stored in the refrigerator. The colour may change from blue to green, but this does not affect the effectiveness of the gel.
