Groene Os Psyllium Husk for dogs and cats can be used for diarrhoea and constipation caused by, for example, eating sand.

These fibres can reach up to twenty times their own weight in water. As a result, this allows the bowel contents to become softer and heavier, improving movement through the intestinal passage.
Dosage and administration
Unless prescribed otherwise:
- Dogs > 25 kilos: Once a day, 1 ½ scoops
- Dogs 10 to 25 kilos: Once a day, 1 scoop
- Dogs and Cats < 10 kilos: Once a day, ½ a scoop.
- 1 scoop contains 2.2 grams
Psyllium Husk is best given in combination with wet food. Mix the indicated dosage with some water. Then mix with the food. Do not leave the food unattended, but offer straight away. If your pet has diarrhoea then it is recommended to use less water. Always make sure you have enough fresh drinking water.
